Avoid a Nearsighted Vision

 Nearsightedness is otherwise known as Myopia.   This condition means one can focus better on things that are near like reading. However, things that are at a distance will appear blurry. How well one can see depends greatly on the extent of nearsightedness. More than 100 million in the US are nearsighted.

Fortunately, there are several ways to avoid a nearsighted vision. One of the ways is to adaptation of precautionary measures. One should observe proper learning methods when he or she is student. This means correct body posture when writing or reading something. Reading in bed should be avoided. Moreover, it is very dangerous and could create stress on the muscles of the eye which often results to a nearsighted vision problem. Furthermore, when you read while you lie in bed, you will not be able to get the right lighting.

To prevent a nearsighted vision, you should also stay healthy; eat well, particularly foods that are rich in vitamins E and C, lutein, antioxidant, dark-leafy vegetables, tomatoes and broccoli.  Cutting back on   your sugar intake also helps in improved vision. Research revealed that cutting down on sugar could benefit one’s vision and there is less risk in developing nearsightedness or myopia.
